Aynrand Nepacina, Growth Lead of Peddlr, attended the Kapatid Mentor ME – Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) on November 17, 2022. This event is organized by Go Negosyo and Department of Trade and Industry.
The Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) started in 2016. This is a mentorship program that seeks to boost entrepreneurial capacity through improved access to Mentorship, Money & Market. Before the pandemic, mentors and mentees conducted weekly face-to-face mentorship. However, pandemic-borne restrictions prevented this from happening.
The organizers organized an online special titled “The Digital Shift Workshops”. The session’s objective was to introduce MSMEs with various digital platforms that may help them digitize their operations. So, they would not fall behind in the changes brought on by the pandemic, especially in terms of utilizing and leveraging technology in the business.
Several micro and small businesses attended the workshop including sari-sari stores, wholesale and retail traders, agri-businesses, etc. In this light, Aynrand focused her discussion on what digitalization is and how Peddlr can help them in this aspect.
