Barangay Caravan is an initiative of Peddlr that aims to raise awareness about the importance of digital and financial inclusion through the help of Peddlr app. 

Last July 22 and 29, Peddlr’s Barangay Caravan commenced in Barangay Payatas Areas A-B-C, Quezon City. Ma. Cristina Juan spearheaded this event, which was attended by sari-sari store owners. This pilot provided Peddlr with an opportunity to connect with our MSMEs in the National Capital Region (NCR). 

On September 17, 2022, the first-ever Peddlr barangay caravan in Catbalogan finally took place. Sari-sari store owners from two barangays in the said city gathered in San Andres multi-purpose court to participate in the caravan titled: “Negosyo Mo, I-Peddlr Mo. ” 

Ma. Adelfa Lagbas and Trisha Basal were present to talk about financial literacy and the Peddlr app, respectively. Attendees left the event with not only new knowledge about managing finances and using the Peddlr app, but also tokens to use in their businesses.

These are just the starting point of our greater goal of making Peddlr a household name in the Philippines. We will definitely go to more areas throughout the country, to assist more MSME in their business.
